« on: September 16, 2006, 06:53:34 pm »
Hi all,

Has anyone seen that goon on ebay calling himself "Agua Puro" like he's some sort of Spanish god....he's from Somerset ....the system that he builds in his bedroom, he claims is worth £999.00...its not.. its worth 50p and that's for the resin  ;D
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AGUA-PURO-Pure-Water-Window-Cleaning-Systems_W0QQitemZ120032234710QQihZ002QQcategoryZ43015QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItemD

( if this link fails just search for "window cleaning"on the search bar in ebay)

..The man is an arse please check it out... nice garden hose there mate

PLEASE PLEASE If you are going into water fed, research as  much as poss so you don't buy inferior crap like this. People like him make me angry  >:( >:( >:( just ripping money off you......newbies be aware not every wfp system is a good one.

P.S check out his feedback.....staged or what !!

item number 120032234710 jeff

to be fair its worth 400 quid anyday of the week, might even be 500 quid

not in the same league of markup as the "professional systems" so at least he is giving the normal WC'er a chance to own the kit

of course, could save and build your own DIY styleeee

POLE SYSTEM is proving to be the most effective, safest and most importantly only LEGAL way for professional window cleaners to keep working.

Iam all up for people saving money but look at the quality off the components its not gonna last long i.e garden hose and a 60 psi pump...come on.

Well if someone did buy it to get into WFP and it saved there life then that can only be a good thing, so I am all for DIY (YES you did read that right Matt ;)) as for the system see if you can get the bits cheaper, my personal view I wounld not touch it, but thats my choice

luckily many of us have found this site! I'm not against e bay, I buy from there myself, but it pays to do some research first. Through this site I've found many good suppliers and going the diy option is very easy now. Whats with 2 x 125 ltr tanks anyway?, why would you want that? ???

* 2 x 125ltr Tanks (250ltr in total)

This is a full system ready to get you started and can be set up in the back of any car.

Hence 2 x 125 tanks.  Yeah right it will fit in any car  ::)

without wishing to be arguementive :)

plenty use a hose household hose reel, is has microhose going up the pole though

LOADS use a 60 psi pump aswell

t be fair the parts look industry standard, EXCEPT the hosereel

nice to see a bigger DI resin cylinder though, much better than the 250 RO-MAN has

Isn't this what me and a few others like Welmac & JM123 have be saying in many replies, DONT BUY IT JUST BECAUSE ITS CHEAP. Do your homework, ask lost of questions, what’s the warranty? does he have product liability insurance? how long has he been in business? etc. ask more questions on sites like this one and get other WFPs opinions. If its cheap & being made in a back bedroom there's usually a reason.

what rubbish

just because its being made in a garage by some1, doesnt mean its less quality

a system contains

a water tank
RO / DI
pole
Brush
pump
hosepipe

just because you buy from a "comercail company" doesnt make it any better, just means they have made a good few hundred quid out of you

the parts are all industry standard, keep to that standard and you have a system that will do the job well

lets not lose sight of that

oh and isnt the fact that you sell system enough to make you "run-down" the ebay system maker  ::)
