On Broadway they are all (if memory serves) council semis.
For these type of houses I would normally charge £6.
However if these people are used to paying £3.50 they wont wear it.
It could be worth going in at £4.50 and maybe getting most of Broadway (then put them up after 6 months).
My sister has just moved into 102 Dacre Ave and needs a window cleaner.
I cleaned them for her the other day and the next door neighbour asked if I would start doing theirs.
I refused saying this is a one off favour for my sister.
I would have given them your details but you withhold your number when you ring me.
As I say even though it is underpriced work is work and when you are starting up it can be used to tide you over, then when you get better stuff drop them or bang the price up.
We recently did this on a street in Wrenthorpe.
We underpriced initially and said after 6 months we would up the price.
We cleaned 16 houses (all next to each other) for a fiver each which was £80 of work.
We the increased the price to £6.
We lost 4 customers.
The result was we now clean 12 customers earning £72.
After 2 cleans they came and asked us to restart them.
Final result we clean 16 customers for £96 instead of £ 80.
I know you are probably fed up of hearing this but it really is a numbers game.
If you have 50 cleans at a fiver and you put them all up by a quid you may lose 5 or 6 cleans.
However the reulst is 50 cleans for £250 or 45 cleans for £270.
Go for it mate.
