squeegy arches

hi,

Having read the best techniques to use a sq on this forum, i have tried my best to do it the correct way... but i saw a window cleaner the other day doin it in arches (squeeging that is lol)   is that right?

I have a few domestics and shops with arches, and I use my squeegy.

Yea I do the arches mate, on say patio doors i could arch half way down on my first side strokes I find that turning the squegee right down almost verticaly on that down stroke on the side really picks up the water, if any of that makes any sense.

I see what you mean, If I do a large window, I go straight down on both side's and then the middle thats left I sweep down in arches

Ah got it, i cant do that yet its wrist action i guess,,, would be all over the place lol.. bet your really quick too

Lol When I first started I had no one to tell me the correct techniques,
so I used to practice on customers windows (those that wern't home) ;D  it now comes as second nature, Keep Practicing and it will come, don't worry about speed first of all,  just the correct technique, once you master that then you can slowly increase your speed.

cheers jeff will do that ,good idea practising when not home,... hey i havent even got an A SMALL POINTED WOODEN LADDER YET... :D...  i use my giant ones for the hard to reach downstairs windows.. ha

 ;D try doing a 180% circle without taking your hand off the glass to complete it at speed, and watch the faces watching you ;D they get baffled ??? it looks like your wrist is on a 180% swivel ;D ;) if you click on my website you will see ;)

Gazza i brought some video clips from the internet.

They show u some now to squeegee
