Been asked by a customer today how long will the carpet protection last i.e how often will i need it doing.
Unsure of this I wondered if anyone knows the answer to this question and do some suppliers chemical last longer than others?
Thanks,
Rob.

I heard somwere that once the carpets protected its 100%
Every time its cleaned it loses 3%
And every year of wear it loses 3%
Once it gets down to 90% it needs toping up

Id say more like 30% for wear in a year. A recent course taught me that the only things to strip off protector are wear, solvents and high alkiline (sp) cleaners.
