« on: September 06, 2006, 01:44:10 am »
Hi i brought this software for my window cleaning round.
I was told that he was going to bring out the pda version.

Anybody know when this is going to happen

Maybe i brought to early and should have gone with George the Window Cleaner’s Assistant

hi dave,
i use george, download free version, you can use it for 60 customers free..... its dead simple to use and once you have entered your calls into it,.. it does the whole thing for you including jobs done, not done, arrears.. and you just print a job sheet each day.... tick the sheet when done and paid.... then enter it all in each evening.... or week.

I bought the Window Cleaning Pro as well, i'm very happy with it but i was a bit concerned about not having a stand alone version and always having to contact their server.

Last i knew was that Ian was working on a PDA version so i'm sure he'll be in touch soon.

I think i will send them an email just to make sure.

Hi Dave.

I spoke to Ian end of last week, he said hes getting the PDA together. I think WCP beats George, i downloaded George & deleted it off my computer in days.

If you are intrested, tell him about me (david68) i help about 4 hours one night changing things i would tell him what i wanted and he would do a update.

So email him for a 30 day trial.....u never know

Hi Guy's

Like Dave I have also spent some time working with Ian and am myself awaiting for the reports facilities to be activated.

The general concept of WinderCleaner Pro is very good and has some very user friendly concepts. The main concern at present is the lack of reporting, when you submit your reports for either your accountant or tax man they need to be in the format they are expecting. At present WCP doesn't offer that.

I am sure once Ian has released the PDA version he will be able to compile the reporting templates.

Hi. First of all im not that good with computers, Windows is as far as it goes with me & thats testing my brain  ::). I found George very complecated & in my opinion as you put it rubbish.

In my opinion WCP is easy to use & looks the bizz. It works for me & thats great, the same as others think George is great.

To be truthful I dont think there much between them, download either one use it for a month and thats the one you'll think is best.

Ive opted for George at the moment because its more complete (ie PDA version) and I find it really straight forward to use.
