« on: September 04, 2006, 03:08:35 pm »
Can you help me please as i need to buy a new pole for commercial work & i have ionics @ the moment but i find them ok but expensive and they losen up very quickly dispite the cleaning of them is there any poles that give them a run for the money ??? its not really the money as in the long run they pay for themselves but quality to be able to do the job without the poles twisting etc. What do others think or is it just me??? >:(

Hi

We use ionics .... but there is a new one from unger which is a good bit of kit. It comes with snap on type poles very very ridgid one lad has hat it up 30m that is 8 floors, would advise not to go so high gut it is possible... check it out at

http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.com/ its called HI-FLO carbontec.... You can also split it to have two poles (if you buy extra head) it's up at £1500 but when I was last there it was offered to me at £1200...the owner Juilan is very accomadating.... Lee CCWC
CCWC..if we can't reach it no-one can.

You get used to it and for those who have seen me know i don't look like a body builder and use a 36ft powerpole.

When i first go mine i thought christ that weighs some but now after 18 month i sling it thinking nothing of it.

My lad who is 17 also uses the 36ft powerpole and thinks nothing of it.

It just take a few weeks for you body to adjust.

My next pole will be again another powerpole i think there excellent.
