floor sealing
« on: September 02, 2006, 08:50:27 pm »
hello all, just thought i would share this with you all!
had a phone call thursday asking me to come and quote a wooden hall floor to be stripped and sealed! i was told they had another company in to do it last time and they were not happy with the work! So i popped along to the school to have a look and yes it was'nt the greatest job in the world! So i started explaining to the caretaker how i was going to go about stripping and sealing the floor and that i would need a couple of days to complete the work and he looked very shocked then began to explain to me how the other company had done it! they used the schools washing up liquid in a numatic scrubber dryer then done one swift up and down of the hall then they produced another chemical and one guy went along in front of the scrubbing machine pouring this chemical on the floor! All i wanted to know is it just me am i missing something or has this school been had? also the job start to finish 2hrs!!!!
