I would be grateful for any recommendations on how to get rid of scatches on stainless steel splashbacks in the kitchen.
Many thanks.

I can't see how you can remove scratches in metal. Best thing is once clean rub over with a small amount of baby oil on a soft rag should bring it up to a nice even sheen.

I have found that nothing really gets rid of scratches on stainless steel. and please do not use a green scourer, it will make it much worse.

Many thanks for your replies. Yes, it was the green scourer that scatched it. A lesson learnt! For information, the stainless steel is a brushed stainless.
I will try the baby oil to give it a shiny sheenas I am also looking for something to give stainless steel an even shine. Any other suggestions on this would be helpful.
Thanks.

hi there
if its brushed stainless, then a plastic surgeon could help
they use wet and dry, vary the grades, and then go inline with the brush, and hey ho minor scratches are dimished
its done a lot on new builds.
