Now my terms and conditions are printed on my 'Your window cleaner has been chit' and I have very little trouble from my customers.

Oh... you said chit - I thought you said something else, Tosh! ;D

really winds me up when people tellme not this month or not to do them in the winter, only had one cancelled for the winter, I asked her what she'd do if her boss told her to only come to work in the summer?  And if she thought I was a big bear who would just go and hibernate for a couple of months - silly woman, bears don't clean windows. >:(

I've only lost one "unhappy" customer. She was a Mar - Nov person cause "there's no point doing them in the winter!!" as she said .  So In March I put a note through the door saying i'll be round next week. She was away but her mum was looking after the house and phoned me and said can i leave it this month and do it next month. Yes off course i said no problem,  always be polite. I went and did them next month. The daugther phoned me saying " I didn't ask you to do them" I replied no but your mum did!! She moaned a bit ( her  house is worth about £340,000 and she's bickering about £15.00, SAD) so i din't retaliate i just wrote her a very professional typed letter pointing out that I am a legitimate, honest window cleaner ( hence the original call to say I was coming round) and that she was incorrectly questioning my integrity....So...i finished the letter by saying... Thank you for your business.....keep your £15.00...... but i'm not coming back. I must point out I still have 13 other very happy customers in the same Close paying me between £15 and £20  each per month. It's her loss, not mine....
