new contract adivce needed (please)
« on: April 17, 2004, 02:01:20 am »
Hi guys

On the verge of my first big contract which will include doing duct work and cleaning hard fllors.

A. has anyone done any duct work?

B. What machine and chemical would you recommend to do hard floors?

It is for the fast food industry so anyone with any experience as to chemicals, substances, materials etc would be of enormous help.

many thanks

Regards

Hi martin
Did  only ductwork for about 3 years, what do you need to know?

Everyone seems normal untill you get to know them!

hi

dave have sent you a PM.

It is several sites every 6 months, a panel also has to be put in for access to rest of the duct.

Martin

Have you ever cleaned ductwork.

If you have not I think I admire your courage going for and getting a contract in an area of cleaning you are not sure off.

Good Luck

Ian

Thanks Ian, very kind.

I have never done it but will give anything a try, never scared to try new ways of making money. I will get staff to do the actual work.

Ive never done ductwork myself but the floors should be straightforward enough. the small numatic scrubber driers like are cheap enough to buy especially if you are doing the sites at different times. they are easy to move about and you can use any odourless bactericidal detergent through them.
