Starting an ironing service
« on: August 28, 2006, 09:43:13 pm »
Hi is there anyone on ehre that provides a dedicated ironing service. Its something im thinking about adding to my business most probably to replace carpet cleaning. I am thinking of buying a industrial steam iron. I dont really have much of an idea about the market yet as i am kind of still at the planning stage. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that could give me some tips and advice on the dynamic of this line of business. Any good suppliers etc.
Thanks for your time good luck in business and life everyone

I think if you look on frequently asked questions you might find a price list.

Why do you want to replace carpet cleaning?

I know this sounds obvious...but have you tried contacting companies that supply this service? It maybe worth your while as I'm sure you'd get various responses and you'll be able to pick out information that would be relevant to you.

You perhaps should even consider employing one or two companies (if finances allow) to do some work for you in order to get an idea of what is being offered and how the services are presented. You'll find it very educational I'm sure.
