No It's not bad customer service. If It happened to me and they said that, I'd tell them It's 1 1/2 x the normal price. The would'nt say that again ;D

Fairy is a good cleaning product, renound for removing grease and dirt. Also adds a shine. What are the good points of gg3?Surely something that takes(as quoted)2-3 months to get the hang of cant be that good.Maybe one day i will give it a go and be proven wrong

Only had one woman ask me to leave them this time, think that it was because she was skint, not because the windows did not need doing! Also one woman does not want me to do them if it has rained that day or is raining or is going to rain that day, so i am now having training by the met office!

Right then,

You pointed out 3 things there.

Here Is why gg3 Is better!

1. Removes dirt easily

2. Removes grease easily

3. Also gives a shine

4. No sticky residue left behind

5. Windows stay cleaner for longer! (fact)

6. Kinder on the hands.

PS.I've nothing against fairy! Just like my gg3 now ;)

ive heard that the solution itself isnt that thick, meaning a more watery mix, surely making it harder to see what you are taking off.

From personal experience I have hired a few lads over the years who loved their dish detergent and when i tried to change them over to gg3 they always ended up putting way too much in to make up for the lack of glide . It seemed to cause the opposite making the windows more sticky  and the more they added the stickier they got

when we used this suff :-\ ??? the only fing we thought it was good for was washing your hands it did make your hands clean, negative side
commercial contracts thought we were so tight we did not use soap to clean there windows and we only used water, thats what it looks like,so is it not worth the money I personally dont think so I have 30 years wc tell me somthing that blows me away,er gg3 4 dont do it ;) people want to see soap

I agree with Terry on that.

Regardless of the result, it's looks like you're cleaning the window if there's soap suds.

Hi Mathew.

Im wfp now but still do a bit trad, ie insides & insides conservatorys, why does it take a bit to get used to & do you reckon its worth me switching or just carry on with fairy as im used to it & i dont do much trad anyway?

Macc

Macc,

If you only do Insides I reackon your better off sticking to fairy. For some reason It's even harder to work with gg3/4 on Insides. (I'm well used to It now ;))

I can' really explain to you why It's harder to get used to. I supose It's the glide factor. Sometimes you have to pull fast and press hard with the squeegee. Also you may have to angle the blade differently.

When I first started window cleaning It was all trad work I did so I had no choice but to get the hang of It.

Hope that helps ???

P.S. Very Impreased with your van setup!

Matthew

I've tried gg3 and couldnt get any slip, however no problems with fairy or sqeegie off, if gg3 did have slip I would definatly use it as I think its great otherwise.
