Just empty what you need into your bucket. Works for me ;)

it does not slide as easy as fairy if you want the slide double up the amount they recomend

Absolute rubish terry >:( Have you tried gg3/4??? If you have tried It you were obviously not using It correctly or you did'nt stick with It.

I used fairy when I first started out then switched to gg3. My first Impression was RUBISH! But I stuck with It and will never go back to fairy! It took me about 2-3 whole months to get used to It. Don't think you tried It this long or you would'nt have said what you said!

Fairy Is good but leaves a sticky residue and suds all over the place.

gg3= no sticky residue and glass DOES stay cleaner for longer. It also eats dirt like there's no tomorrow.

personaly I think gg3 gg4 = crap + costs a lot just another sell on to the wc

So before you come out with a 1 line  excuse why you think gg3 Is "crap" how about explaining properly why you think It's "crap"

i definately think gg3 is better, again i started with fairy and it does do a job, but gg3 does a better job in my opinion, the windows shine better, and stay cleaner longer meaning the next clean is easier. Fairy must leave a residue as the dirt seems to stick to the window easier.
Not to mention the suds on the frame etc, i, myself always wipe the frame and sill off, but have noticed, especially on dark couloured u p v c, that have been cleaned by different wc in the past, that a lightening of colour takes place and in some places the brown u p v c has been worn a way down to a grey colour, by the suds being left on the frame.

yes gg3 is more expensive then fairy, but i believe you get what you pay for, but do accept that fairy can do a job.
But i bet if you could do a test on the same windows over a few cleans, the customer would be happier with the gg3 finish.

Macc,

If you only do Insides I reackon your better off sticking to fairy. For some reason It's even harder to work with gg3/4 on Insides. (I'm well used to It now ;))

I can' really explain to you why It's harder to get used to. I supose It's the glide factor. Sometimes you have to pull fast and press hard with the squeegee. Also you may have to angle the blade differently.

When I first started window cleaning It was all trad work I did so I had no choice but to get the hang of It.

Hope that helps ???

P.S. Very Impreased with your van setup!

I think the reason its harder to do insides is because the windows are set deeper on the inside which means your squeegee has to be at a different angle to finish the window, just my opinion but was thinking the same thing when i read your post

Yeah, or the equivelent.

Got to be a good brand though.
I ran out once, and bought Tesco Value washing-up liquid.

Had to dilute nearly 50-50. ;D

I have only used fairy. If it is true that gg3 keeps the windows cleaner for longer,i wouldnt use it as customers would give it the "can you leave them this month they dont need doing" ;) fairy seems ok to me.

If the customer makes a habit of saying leave them this month, they look ok! Does anyone say that the next clean will be dearer as there will be more dirt on the window? Or is this bad customer service?
