Hi guys
Can anyone on here help me with some advice? I have a couple of old Regency houses to clean and the glass in the sash windows are very old and have years of dirt and white rain droplet marks on them. I have been cleaning them for a couple of months now with GG4, but this mot shifting it, anyone got any suggestions?

Hi,
It sounds like limescale, if it is try some limescale remover and a scraper should work but rinse well though.

I haven't needed to use it yet myself, but try MDR - Mineral Deposit Remover.

MDR eh?
Does this stuff work?
In the past I have tried limescale remover but unlike a toilet bowl you cannot leave the windows to soak overnight!! :-/
I have often wondered if there was a product on the market that could deal with it as it won't shift even with a razor knife.
I found that I would point this out to the customer and they were always cool about it.
Where do you get this Mineral Deposit Remover from? I am sure that my usual supplier doesn't have anything like this, (though I will check with them).

Here's the manufacturer's site . . .
http://www.titanlabs.net/mdr.htm
Here's a Google on MDR in GB . . .
http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=MDR+%22mineral+deposit+remover%22&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&hl=en&btnG=Google+Search&meta=cr%3DcountryUK%7CcountryGB
But this site seems to have the best price at present . . .
