Nick,
I am sure you would have more joy with Solution No 2.
Goes on as very fine mist.....so no overwetting
If you need at short notice then Solutions do FAST delivery or give me a shout as i could spare a gallon (at cost :

Nick,
For the difficult grease patches, try Eco Spotter - micro-splitters with alcohol (Solution UK).
Follow up with Solution No. 2 as Chris sugested brushed in with your rotary fitted with polypropylene brush - or the same products with bonnet or Charley pads shoul produce good results if general soil level is not too high.

Can't remember what a needle punch carpet looks like (from training).
I've used Texatherm on gym carpets with excellant results. Their cleaner works very well on oily soiling. Carpets dry in 2-3 hours.
Someone recently had a system for sale.

Hi Nick
Avoid HWE on needle punch if slightly overwet you will draw the glue through from underneath bonnet . Super Pad Charly or texatherm.
Best regards Nick
