Small scrubber dryer advice, please
« on: April 10, 2004, 09:41:28 pm »
Got a restaurant to clean 7 x days a week, vinyl floor, 3500 sq ft, takes a lot of mopping and was considering using a Karcher BR400 type of machine. This would, hopefully, quicken up the clean and save the tired arm of the cleaners.

Anyone got any experience of this kind of machine, please? Are they going to do a consistent job, reach under the tables, manage edges well etc?

have had br400s in the past and are a great machine when working. an absolute pig when they go wrong and extremly expensive to repair. have a look at the numatic tt1535. its not quite as heavy but is cheaper and better built. ;)

Agree the BR 400 is an excellent piece of kit - can damage floors within seconds if not used correctly though - as an alternative what about the Wetrok 350e?

BR 400 is a true scrubber drier with the power to clean Altro flooring better than any other machine. Looked after they are very reliable. Try the Karcher web site for more info.

Main advantage over other machines (Apart from sheer cleaning power) is its size - 400mm square and only 300mm high so will easily pass under tables and fixed seating.

Handle folds for storage

Not the cheapest on the market List is £1755 + VAT - But who pays list??
