anybody out there who employs service techs, what payment structure do you use ie, low basic with commision for....., basic only, basic + overtime etc. Also anybody use 2 man crews on the vans, again what sort of salary structure do you use. I am not looking salary figures, just ideas of which method seems to work best.

Thanks

Dean

Low basic plus commission on how many sq metres they clean, or, if they're doing upholstery, a percentage of gross take.

This way you keep them hungry for work and stop all the pi** taking.

How do you stop them rushing jobs to clean more sq meters at the next job?
