You can try a steam cleaner.

A high pressure washer.

I bought a second hand IBC 1000ltr container that had a chemical in they used to put in plastic to make the plastic plyable.

I cut a hole in the top, had to anyway as my submersible pump would not fit in the normall hole. I cleaned mine out with a good degreaser and I could reach most of the inside by hand with a scrubbing brush. I just used a stiff brush on the parts I could not rech by hand.

chances are its mystolene - if it is then just a steamer or pressure washer, it takes a while but should come off eventually.  Q - are there any lumps in it, sometimes mystolene sets but it sets in sheets almost.

the bottom of the container has got a coating of glue on it i have used a pressure washer but it wont get the thick stuff off , i am thinking of getting into the tank and cleaning it ie i have cut a slit across the top to put a sub pump in and i am thinking of taking it out of its cage and trying to get inside it has anyone done this
or is there a chemical that will remove the glue
