Pole and Platform Help Needed Please
« on: August 14, 2006, 08:59:23 pm »
Hi Not been on here for a while (making hay while the sun shines)

I need some advise
Rather than hireing a 100ft boon platform has any one ever used a 50ft pole from a 50ft plateform

a) can it be done?
b) is it safe to do?

Any help, advise would be gratefully recieved..

Alan

Dont even think about it, I use a 52ft powerpole .It can get quite heavy to use , and thats from the ground. In a platform you wont have the room you need  to move around . Just hire a 100 ft machine and charge it to the job

did someone on here before have a 120ft featherlight?  You could try that. Whats the job (if you don't mind me asking) that you got to go 100ft up for?
