Van seat stain
« on: August 14, 2006, 01:27:19 pm »
Purchased last week a Despatch van.  The driver's seat has a stain which looks like "Tippex".  Any help with removal would be appreciated. ( window cleaner with no experience/equipment to clean).        Thanks!

Try some tip-ex thinner, if you can get hold on any. It might take the colour out of the fabric so test first.

The formula of tip-ex has changed over the years from tricloroethane based to water based product.

Failing that, the cover should be replaceable.
