Had customer today follow me around the house today whilst cleaning.

How do I get rid of them. The funny thing was that we had a good chat before and everything was fine. He must of thought I was going to look through his wifes knicker draw.

I usually put on a face mask, rubber gloves and an all in one suit!! that usually works

If they chatty i do not mind but it slows you down.


Its the ones who pick holes but as like all of uson here you one of the best cleaners on the Planet in fact The Universe we have nothing to worry about/

i get the odd one now and then who likes to see the process. one client wanted to have a go themselves but managed to persuade them otherwise

I've had this conversation with my wife. She assured it me that most people are amazed at what they see when cleaning the carpet. So it is not you there interested in, just the clean lines in the carpet.

I had one wife who had a fetish about watching her carpets get cleaned.Her husband said she was strange she gets them done every six months even though they are not dirty :

i had that recently neil, she even stood behind me on the stairs as i went down cleaning them! she followed me all over, every time i went to pull my hoses she was right there in the way,

she was a bl**dy irritating!

i dont mind them watching but she made it hard work

Once had a lady follow me all over, then asked if she could have some of the dirty water in a jar so she could show her husband when he got in !
