Hi all.
I produce my pure 15 meter’s away from the van and pump it to the van via a 19mm rubber heater hose. 350 tank in van takes 15 minutes to fill. 13mm hose used to take over 40 minutes but would sit nicely out of the way on a reel.
The 19mm I could coil up by hand and put it out of the way/sight.
However the cold weather is now preventing this as it’s become non compliant 😁
Really don’t want to go back to 13mm and wondered what you use.

I use 1 inch hose internal diameter similar to reel hose just bigger from garage to van about 30 ft and a clarke transfer pump so 10-15 mins to fill a 600L tank.

Just use the pond hose it comes in a variety of sizes 50mm is good it’s only plastic with wire reinforcement but relatively cheap and will do what you want very well regardless of temperature

I use 50mm UPVC ribbed tranfer hose, fills my 500 litre tank in a couple of minutes.

My tanks around 25 metres from my van and its filled in minutes, use s 25mm hose for it.

10 metres for me. I use 1.25"/30mm. Which can be gravity or pump fed depending which tank I draw from.

Good mix of volume and not too bulky.

How are you guys storing the hose?
15 metres of 1/2 on a reel, no problem
15 metres of 3/4 I haven’t found a solution to store it.

I have 12m of 1 inch hose in the garage, I just coil it in a stack of loops and it goes on the floor next to my tank and RO system.

I have about 10 metres of 2 inch hose, I just roll it up (coil memory) and slam it on top of my IBC tank.

Thanks. How do you store it, on a reel? If so which one.  My problem is keeping it tidy. Easy enough when it’s warm but when it’s cold the stuff I use is like wire.

There's always old wheelie bins kicking about which are great for storing hose. I now rescue abandoned wheelie bins and take them home with me. Then I remove the wheels and cut them so they fit my storage shelf and cut out a few handles on them. Because they are square they fit together and take up all the space.

I have 12m of 1 inch hose in the garage, I just coil it in a stack of loops and it goes on the floor next to my tank and RO system.

We use 1 inch hose and coil it away it loops but we have to lift it above the level of the tank otherwise it just empties out onto the floor. We use submersible pumps for transfer ?

I use curved hook thats a bit like half of a car wheel in shape and just lay it over a few times, will take a pic when i get chance.

Thanks, I already have 6 meters of that transfer hose and fuel pump handle. I have now bought that Clarke transfer pump for £102. Got all my stuff together when I begin making my own pure in my garage.

Up here we own the wheelie bins and have to pay £45 for a new one. My neighbour was telling me this who works for the council. If they owned them then they would need to replace bins for free when stolen and deal with the police on the theft report. That's the reason they don't want them back and are left abandoned when broken. I do some charity work and collect them which leads to an MBE so I'm told.

Thanks Robert, my Clarke pump arrived today for another bit of equipment when I make my own pure in my lockup. I already have the rubber hose (6m) and fuel pump handle to connect to the pump for quick delivery.
