Hi ,

Does anybody else have one of these reels ?  Mine is one of the first run built and i only paid £600 for it ........but its underpowered and a bit slow . I notice it has a 24v motor , anybody have a newer version thats been updated ? wondering if the newer ones have a different motor.

Are you sure it’s not slow because your battery is old?

Also, I wouldn’t want it too quick in case it snags on something. Or they can soon whip up causing damage or injury, especially with a rectus 21 or similar on the end.

My reels were rapid and eventually slowed down. Found out it was to do with the wire connections. Ended up using connector block rather than spades and made a vast difference.
