I bought the Pure Freedom Nano Trolly with the chemical pump. It was about £800 but got my money back in a month with all the jobs I had booked. Its the best trolly I have bought and don't use the backpacks no more.

When I did use the backpack, all I did was flush it out after cleaning with hypo. Backpack lasted over a year and just bought a new one. Don't see the point changing the pump because the battery doesn't last forever.
Keep it simple and just buy a new one every 18 months and it will save you plenty of time which can be used to make money.

Same here use Gardiners backpacks for everything  except window cleaning.......good rinse and flush out afterwards and they are fine.

We used to use the standard pump and just flush it through after use never had any problems they lasted around 3-4 years then just buy another one ,we only ever used it for hypochlorite, I know it will invalidate the warranty but at £140 over that time for a back pack  just feel it’s very cheap cleaning

Still not a lot over 3-4 years though when you look at what you would earn from it over that time , by that age all the other components will need replacing anyway so it’s more cost effective to buy a new one then .

I’d rather try to look after it so I know it’s there when I need it and I don’t have to wait a month for a new one due to the delivery issues they have over here or the excessive delivery charges which are on top of the $500.

For a 40 squid pump there’s not much of a question mark over it, is there.

Do t think the other components will last more than 3-4 years , switch speed controller and battery will all be on the way out by then  that’s what we found . The pump wasn’t the issue that was still fine  just everything else went  they are ok but very cheaply made

I've considered making a small system. Given that 90% of the time I carry my back pack by hand, this would do the job and the wiring etc would be easy to reach.

25l tank - free from car wash plus a small case containing:
Pump - identical to the ones in my backpack, £9.50 on ebay -  I'd buy three and dump them when they fail
Li-ion battery - you're going to leave the pump on at some point and you'll knacker your lead acid plus they are 1/3 the weight - £40
Analogue pump controller - £5 - £20 depending on your love of AliExpress (or not).

Best thing I did was buy the Pure Freedom Nano trolly. Money maker from the start especially when I'm spraying roofs and doing SFG cleans. I was hesitant to pay £800 for it but after I've had it a year, I wish I had bought it years ago.

This game is all about taking the hit and move with the times. There is new stuff coming out all the time and most of it wouldn't make much of a difference but sometimes a nugget appears and saves us alot of time and energy.
