As above , on the 20th of february my lovely soul mate and partner passed away.
she was only 59, and i am 53.
I have continued to look in each morning , and was saddened to hear of darren (smudgers passing)
as we all know , smudger  had kidney faliour. my sian was a renal nurse , and her job was giving dialisis to patients with kidney problems .
As i reflect through my greif , i ask myself , ? what would sian want for me ?
so I have just ordered my first extreme pole . ( I hope its worth the hype )
she would laugh at this , as one year she asked me what I would like for christmas .... that year I got some univalves 
her very last gift to me was a beanie hat with a torch so i could see on the dark mornings getting ready for work.

I’m really saddened to read your post and I’m sorry but I don’t know what to say to you,I can’t begin to imagine how you feel.
After reading the contents of your post I feel Sian would be proud of you for ordering a new pole as I feel she would see that as a positive step in you trying to rebuild your life.
Be proud of yourself for what you’re doing ,keep that beanie hat with torch on it close at hand to help you through the darker days.

My brother lost his wife to leukemia a few years ago at the age of 51. It hit him hard and he went on a drinking spree for the best part of 3 years....

Don't hit the bottle whatever you do as it'll just make everything worse....

All the best for the future pal. When you look around you ll always find people who ve been through the same experiences. Your never have to go through it alone.

I changed when I received the fire service pension and had no money worries. I would hope windies run with the lightest poles because they are a dream to work with.

I have lost freinds relatives and my parents .
trust me .....this is in a different league
trying to explain this type of grief , would be like trying to explain to a blind man what the colour green looks like
