Have you flushed it recently?

What's your tap tds going into your RO?

What's your water pressure,has it dropped recently?

Do you take the hose off your DI(from the RO) for a couple of mins after first turning it on THEN take a reading?

I changed both of mine when they reached 10 tds. Bought a pair of Axeons at a cost of £300 each, hope they will last 10 years because my TDS is only 70.

My tap tds at my last address was 024 and I only had to change my resin every 5 months. I was using large 25L vessels though.

Surely the more resin you use eventually will reduce the cost, that's why I use two resin bottles, three will just take it a step further.

I dont know what the savings would be maybe not a lot but the more resin you use the cheaper it will be because you will be keeping the old resin longer which means the 000 resin will last longer, why won't adding a third make no difference, what am i missing,

Also for the original poster of this thread, i think it would be impossible to answer him as no one knows what his TDS was when his membrane was new. Maybe he only ever got a TDS of 20, now its 22 so its fine for ages yet. Its impossible to say without more information when he needs to reenew his membrane.
