Just no.

A quick let up in the madness before my son starts his exams on the Friday.

I did end up finishing a job the other Sunday afternoon though.

What exams is he taking EandM?

GCSEs - lots of them,
Then leaves in June for College.

For what seems like the last 20 years, I've had a five & a seven year old.
Then one day they're suddenly 15 & 18.
I'm unsure how we've all got old enough for this  :)

He wants to do Accountancy, which sounds pretty useful.
He's far cleverer than I.

Sounds like he has his head screwed on. Accountancy is a great profession to get into.

It's great fun taking them off to College. Quite a wrench. Is he staying on campus or sharing a place? Far away?

As for him being far cleverer than you - you run a successful business - that's pretty clever.

It's a game of three halves!

I'll be doing a skip run tomorrow and hopefully get some windows cleaned. Weather been great and I will be glad to get back to cleaning windows after a large fence job. Out of all the jobs I have done, window cleaning is the best bar the boredom factor. Probably the only new business that never goes bust if your a one man band.
Not many houses on the market up here at the moment and I have heard £40k over the asking price in a good area near me. Means many folk now want to look after their asset which means I've never been so busy.

That's very kind, thank you very much :)

He's commuting by train. It's only about 40 minutes but I'm going to have to drive him to the station for 7am.
On the plus side, my working day will be restored to pre-children levels and I should be able to get a lot more done.

Every silver cloud and all that...
