It'll keep indefinatly in the tank, 12 is a little high for cleaning, IMO you would be better to DI it before putting it on the glass, but then some have said they've used higher with no probs, I think you can eliminate the water quality if you get any comebacks when its at 000 tds

12?? Thats a bit high! Do you normally clean at 12 and are the results ok?

The only time it is a problem if you keep it still at high temp for about 3 days or more (ie leaving water in  your tank when you go on holiday and its really hot here. Then Legionella can form.
as for the quality of your water (ie TDS) your TDS wont rise as it will only rise if you add nitrates, calcium, chlorine, salts or any other impurity.

Have a good trip

Thanks for the replies. Sorry forgot to mention that I have a 25 lt  final polish di cylinder, which brings it down to zero. Chris thanks for the email, did the job on Wednesday, urgent, so priced accordingly will clean every four months and also pick up a friend of the lady who also lives in Mellis.

Many Thanks,

Paul.

be careful about picking up her friend, if you have an acident and she gets hurt, your ins company will void your insurance if its not hire and reward. If you think i'm being mad, it happened to me when giving someone a lift to work, they paid half of petrol. the ins group said that was payment so it was void

I would not use 12.
I wont clean with anything over 2 normally.
The only time i did was when i broke my D/I vessel so had to clean with just R/O water which was 6 but only for a couple of days.

Didn't get no complaints at 6

If your going to the beach, pull your car on the beach and sell bottled water, ;D ;D (provided it hasn't gone through your DI system) the ice cream man does. (only joking ;D)
