im looking for info on types of fitting i can use to join 3 water barrels together
any body have any info on types and were to buy at

Why not use the taps with a length of hose jubilee clipped between them?
(For extra taps just drill a hole in the side and use ptfe to seal the joint)

you can buy tank connectors and pipe from and DIY store, they are used for the cold water tank in the loft (but will do the same job that you need)
