Vac motor brushes

Hi guys' just wondering how difficult it is to change vac motor  brushes' my prochem seems to be leaving the carpet too wet' both vacs fire up ok but there isn't much vacuum noise coming from the wand so i was gonna try brushes before having them renewed..thanks

I doubt if it is the brushes causing this.
Very unlikely that both sets will go at the same time.
Check all the pipes are clear - I would think there is a blockage somewhere.
Is there good vac with no pipes on? Then connect a pipe and check, carry on until you lose vac.
Some times if you hold a pipe on back to front it will clear.
Inspect the insides of the tool carefully. I have found hair grips can jam and build up rubbish.
