bus shelter cleaning
« on: July 24, 2006, 11:47:34 pm »
For my sins I have just got the contract for the cleaning of a dozen or so bus shelters in my local area, as well as a general clean they want a price for graffiti removal of which I have no knowledge, the bus stops are a alluminum and perspex construction and are generally covered in it. Any one on here with experiance of graffiti removal how hard? is it impossible? costs? chems?

regards
stu

Really depends on what type of graffiti you are talking about, you local jani supplier should be able to sort you out some sort of kit to take care of most things, try to sell the protector coat that you can put on after removal, makes life a whole lot easier.
be warned its not easy or cheap! I sometimes think it's 80% art, 2% chemical & 18% hard graft!
A world of difference....
