What height are you working to - mostly?
Ground floor and first floor are fine with the ungers supplied - but when on second floor it starts to get whippy. (Although I made up a shorter cut off version for ground floor)
I prefer not to extend the top (final section) beyond about three feet as that is very whippy! (Better to put an extra lenght on the back end.)
I think Ian Giles still uses Ungers and he's a real pro.

If you need to go high try a 1 metre section in the top instead of the 2 metre and like Malc says put a thicker section on the bottom.
