Hi,

First post here and I’m not actually a carpet cleaning professional.

My wife hired a Rug Doctor for upstairs and has trashed the carpet (luckily she only did one room).

I don’t know if the photos do it justice but it’s basically turned orange and there are orange lines in the carpet now. I wasn’t here when she did it so I don’t know exactly what she’s done wrong.

Is there any way to fix this or at least make it look better? I do try want to put any other chemicals on it until I get some expert opinion as to what I need to do.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Edit:- just to add that this is just a snap shot and there are these orange lines on lots of different parts of the carpet (it looks terrible!).
