Getting bucket under tap
« on: October 06, 2022, 07:50:27 pm »
Sometimes As you know we only have bathroom sink every now and again and the bucket doesn’t fit underneath it, used to have a filler hose which used to go over the tap and then down into a bucket or straight into the machine but can’t find one on eBay, any ideas what they are called?

Do what I do and buy some 25ltr canisters. Pre fill at home, and fill the machine with them.  A lot quicker than filling up at customers property.

The best way to get a bucket under a faucet is to put the bucket right under the faucet and turn it on. Depending on the size of the tap and the bucket,

you may need to hold the bucket in place with a bucket handle or another tool. Also, make sure the bucket is empty or almost empty before you put it under the tap to keep water from running out.

If you're in a bathroom you could always unscrew the shower head and fill from the hose.

And it will nice and hot  :)

I seam to recall seeing somewhere on the forum a W4 fill up tube and hose for these situations. Try searching W4 and you'll see. But I wouldn't take your eye off it while using! Very much like Darran's idea though especially from the time saving factor.
