There are a number of changes with the V16. It is a new design and PCB using an Arm processor . This has allowed up to improve polarity protection on the power into the controller from the Battery ( Red and Black cables) If these are connected the wrong way round the controller will not switch on. Correct the cables and it will power up as normal

Other changes is the maximum amp rating which on the V16 is 15a (the V11 was 10a)
The V16 can handle a wider rage of pumps

A new Drive stage means that the pump is driven much more efficiently and this can reduce current draw from the battery. In some cases the pump runs quieter

yes i heard its great , but if i buy anything else the mrs will kill me 
i did buy a mooer ge 300 with a boss dc 10 which is a lot of fun , just got to learn to use it properly
