Karcher professional range
« on: December 29, 2021, 08:14:54 am »
Hello.

Does anyone have any experience of these machines.  Apparently much better build quality than the yellow consumer ones.

Looking at a 6/13 which is 600l per hour and 130 bar operating (190 bar max)..

Was looking at entry level petrol machines but they have the same spec as the karcher  Pro range.

Will be upgrading if tge business takes off,  I did venture into it 3 years ago but couldn't get going due to competing with people charging daft low prices.

Thanks

Hired one to see..

Did my front and rear yards,  albeit with a smaller karcher 5/11.. so lower flow rate and less power..

Seemed pretty on par with my old clarke pls195.

Sorry but Clarke is hardly a professional machine either you want a minimum of 15 ltr per muinit preferably 21ltr  and 250 bar upwards this will give you a much faster clean and rinse .

Criikey, that's no measure of what's decent - hire a real p/w - something with a Honda gx390 and pushing 200 bar - go and reclean that yard and see the difference in finish and time taken

Thank you for the advice.

Going for a decent mid market honda gx200.

Then save for a gx390 :)

How much is a 200 - I might have a full GX390 set up available shortly - tank, machine, hotbox (240 volt) and some bits.

Depends what you want to spend.

Plan on upgrading once I've been going a few months.. first 300 hours then service and upgrade...

Went to buy a gx200 setup new yesterday and had shocking service! Needless to say came away without one. Guy tried adding 75 quid onto the price, cheeky git
