Hypo
« on: August 01, 2021, 08:25:04 pm »
Hey guys,
What’s the procedure for using hypo: I don’t normally use it, but doing my daughters grey flags soon and I know it’s the only way to get the black spot off effectively.  I’ve bought some 17% stuff.  Any advice gratefully received.

My procedure is to pressure wash first

then apply hypo at 50% - leave to dwell for 15 mins - sometimes its useful to agitate with a stiff broom

check and re-apply ( sometimes neat ) to any last remaining stubborn spots - leave again

rinse down ( your personal choice)

I use basically the same procedure as Smudger. I use a watering can I find it the easiest method on small to medium jobs.

Where did you find 17% hypo?  it normally only goes upto 14%

Is that including delivery ( or do you pick it up?) that’s a good price.

although I buy 10% from a farm shop half a mile from my home for £14….. it cost more but is super convenient
