Just read this on daily mail website - hope it helps

I'm not out working - I completely understand both arguments.
I'm waiting to see what the government decides on our situation regarding self employed - Martin Lewis reckons it will come this week.
If it's unfavorable for me I'll make a decision based on that.

Good post. I have also copied Martin Lewis's comments and put it in the main coronavirus/work thread.
It's a game of three halves!

Excellent last sentence, Marko.
If they abandon us it, it becomes interesting.

Scroll down to last bit regarding window cleaners and gardeners. It's a grey area at the minute in England.

It’s not grey for the selfish and stupid. They’ve gone out without a care in the world.

I emailed my mp today, he replied to say I could continue once I adhered to social distancing and  wasn't unwell.

Because that's the government guidance.

Go to work, maintain social distancing, and clean windows.

Or...

Stay at home.

Either way you’re doing the right thing.

It’s the tubes, trains, parks, and beaches full of shed loads of people that the government wants to stop.

The guidelines are too vague.
They'll become less so, soon. We're in unchartered waters and I'm running out of clichés.

Nothing to do with being selfish or stupid.
I've just heard on the radio the Government said: self employed work can continue as long as it absolutely CANNOT be done from home.

Stop using your own anxiety to slag people off unnecessarily.
It's not helpful, you are free to make your own decision if you are in the same boat, let others make theirs.

Ones are not happy, the virus seems to effect ones use of language ... >:(
Why don't you have a quick google before making stupid comments?

No anxiety here. You crack on and Knock yourself out. Literally if it helps.

good stuff...we should all be out working if we work alone (practicing social distancing, good hygiene and a few other things)......i think its shameful that window cleaners think they should stay off and get a handout off the government!exceptions should only be made for those that have to care for a loved one at home or have pre existing health conditions themselves IMO....
price higher/work harder!
