It seems every day, bit by bit it's moving towards a lock down.
In all but name.
And still no help for the self employed.

Yes, travel to and from work is allowed.

So work is allowed.

He’s been in a cobra meeting since 10am this morning. How could he have so long to make that statement and get it so wrong? It leaves more questions than answers of what are allowed to do about working.

Ridiculous.

They police won't have the power to fine anyone until Thursday so between now and then we could class ourselves as essential work as we are unable to work from home and driving to work. I've already phoned and text everyone for tomorrow so off to work tomorrow at least, possibly Wednesday and then I'm calling it a day to be on the safe side. Government never look after the Self Employed so I'm working tomorrow as no help from the government.

What did he get wrong?  He explained it clearly.

What is it you want?

"Window cleaners will be allowed to work!" ;D

Boris did not use the word 'ESSENTIAL'.  He said 'absolutely necessary and could not be done from home'.

If you're a window cleaner you cannot work from home, so it's absolutely necessary for you to travel.

Essential work only, there's a list and we aren't on it.

He said you are allowed to go to work if its absolutely necessary and can not be done from home.

Absolutely necessary is open to interpretation.

He didn't say essential nor did he say only key workers which a lot of people seem to be getting confused about.

Personally I'm out tomorrow as I had already text everyone.

If i start getting a bad response or a lot of cancels I'll knock it on the head.
