PW petrol tank help please.
« on: March 10, 2020, 09:03:38 am »
Hi

The petrol tank on my pw has a metal fitting, possibly 3/8 bsp  threaded straight into the plastic tank, no back nut, gasket or seal of any description present.

It took a knock the other day and is now ever so difficult to seal, I can just about get it to stop leaking with loads of ptf tape but this isn't really ideal in case it gets another knock.

Any suggestions on a better more reliable fitting type ?

Cheers lads.

Why not just change the tank?
