Pump/controller mounting?
« on: January 22, 2020, 07:47:09 pm »
How do you all mount yours?
I think my 12 year old shurflo/varistream pump box is needing replaced soon. Originally bought from Cleantech (remember them?).
Anyhow, it's served me well but want to replace it before I "have" to and keep it as a spare maybe. It's a pretty simple affair that has worked impeccably and would like to replace with similar but maybe not enclosed in a plastic box.
Saw this from purefreedom- it's the same pump and similar controller.
Anyone use one? Or have any other suggestions?

This is what ive been using since i went onto wfp 5 yrs back.  Its all on the mounting board and so easy to use, however Ive cut the wires, so I could mount the controller to where I want to, whilst leaving the pump closer to the tank.
Quick vid, done middle / to end of last year, at the front you can see the controller where its easy to use. Whilst the pump is under the shelve near the back,  by the tank.

Cheers.
Yeah, I thought about separating the pump and controller too.👍
