Thanks mate, just wanting to confirm what's on the bottom

You ever have any imbalance issues with the machine on carpet? Do you ever use Zebra pads or just normal floor pads?

i got a whole lot of green stripe pads 21" cheap  from the paragon microfiber site in a sale ...  as they are made from two pads sewn together i cut them in two as the thick pad dosnt work well on the orbital. Sometimes i put a scrub pad on it .

Imbalance?  dont think so  , although i was using it mostly in hotels on either wool or nylon carpets  ... not ideal , id say the resistance didnt help the bearings.     I might find the perfect commercial job for it and get enthusiastic about using it again in the future .

Did u get one  yourself ?

Yea that's the Bimack.

I notice Russ has the head bubble wrapped, I'm assuming that's to stop it getting dripped on when filling the solution tank? 🤔

Very shortly after the machine was produced it was noticed that there was a balance issue.  When the machine is fitted with the normal driveboard which has an edge and rain holes it was fine with a bonnet or a pad on.  However when then fitted with a normal brush the balance is affected.  We had modifications done to the machine  set up by our engineers and this fixed the problem because we altered the driveboard and had special brushes developed for it.  This has worked really well for Tiling Logistics Limited and Klindex Machines sold by us benefitted from the Modifications and then we allowed the use of the Mods on HG but it was never extended to BIMACK.   However, someone has recently raised the issue that the modified driveboard did not have an upper rim and also no rain holes so when  continuously used for encapping   insufficient water was getting through to the work area causing the machine to drag and because there was no rim on the DB water was splashing too high up skirting.  I have informed our engineers and they are addressing it now.

I hope this helps

Hi Kev,

Yes that someone was me!

I wasn't on here to mention that, I just wanted to see the boards that were fitted as standard and check with someone I knew who used one that the machine encaps ok with pads and the standard board.

I know John will tell me how it is in practice but I can't phone him so asked him for info on here.

There you go Jason shows we are totally transparent about our products and customer service!  Sadly as I told you on the phone we know SFA about carpet cleaning and you are the first to have reported this issue.  Had we been experienced CC’ers we probably would have discovered the problem before now.  But as I said to you I have a lot of confidence in our German engineers.
