Cleaner planner question......
« on: October 13, 2019, 12:09:05 pm »
Can you print slips for certain jobs on that days worksheet instead of every job?

The reason why is some commercial I print invoices out so dont wanna be wasting paper/ink if I can help it.....

I've always used separate 'windows cleaned today' tickets from vistaprint but thinking of changing to the CP slips as they look more professional and I can fit my bank details onto every slip....

Cheers in advance chaps.....

How bad are your slips that the CP ones look better???

Why not click on the “create invoices” tab at the top (assuming you’ve set them as invoiced jobs in cleaner planner, if you haven’t then do it) and then print off the required invoices rather than a slip?

Or get with the times and get an email address and email the invoice like most people do these days..?

so are you saying you email most of your customers instead of leaving a "windows cleaned today"ticket?......i dont.....i think i only email 3 invoices for commercial jobs and one domestic....the rest are tickets/invoices....

printing out invoices for most domestic customers is overkill IMO....an invoice is A4 size,i can fit 4 slips on a A4 size piece of paper! ;D

I think you could raise a worksheet only selecting the jobs whos slips you want to print and then after printing add the other jobs by selecting add to existing worksheet, you could then reorder the worksheet as the new ones go to the bottom

one of the main reasons i want to change my slips/tickets is on the CP ones i can fit my bank details, price, date, balance, payment time(eg.please pay within 14 days)and a request to get more of them to pay by BACS as this is now my preferred method of payment as i want to phase out collecting altogether over the next 12 months......also a lot of the larger domestics i clean i have usually printed out an A4 size invoice out every clean which i think is not needed,a smaller printed slip will suffice...i think this is the way forward.....

as for the commercial jobs ill continue to print out invoices for these(or email them)...ive not got many these days,im virtually all domestic now.... :)

Another reason for moving over to the cleaner planner slips is they are bigger than the business card size slips ive been using......when it comes to prices rises next april ill simply write a note on the back informing them of the new price from their next clean going forward..... ;)

Why don't you use leaflet sized slips.

I get 10k A6 sized leaflets printed up for about £40.

They should last a couple of years....

Can fit loads of info on including bank details,  go cardless sign up instruction or if you offer other services stick them on as well

IMO the leaflet size ones are too big.....i want them to fit in my wallet......also i dont advertise add ons on ANY of my stationary anymore,i have on the back of my van but i dont encourage them...i dont want em!(well most of them!)... ;D

also i dont need to write the date, price, etc out on 10-20+ job slips every day,ill just print them off in the morning and cut them up with a guillotine and stick them in my wallet.....

We had compliment slip size slips designed locally & printed online from below. It's dead reasonable prices.

i think i worded it wrong! ;D

what i meant was i dont need a printed slip as well as an invoice for commercial jobs so i was wondering whether i could just print slips for the domestic jobs on the days i have commercial jobs mixed in as well so im not wasting paper and ink..... ;D

Stick the commercial work on a separate worksheet.

We use CP slips. They work well.
