the cost per square metre seems to depend greatly on where you are in the country
in the midlands where I am, it is anywhere between £1.50 and £3 per metre, but I impose a minimum charge of £50 for a job to make it worth going... if you charge by the metre for this job you would only get between £30 and £60!!!
however, if this is a good customer then you may need to take that into consideration... not a clear answer but it is difficult to say i'm afraid
hopefully you will get a bit of advice from someone a bit more local to you

If youve got the equipment then why dont you make regular use of it. if you are thinking of using a electric pressure washer then think again, the result will be very poor compared to a profesional 15 hp 15 litres per min machine with a turbo lance.
Price wise if using proper equipment £100-120 and about 2 hours work

Totally agree with the 'kit' comments, however, the price seems a bit steep, this is only about 20 metres square in total... £5 - £6 per metre is very expensive even for the more pricey regions.
I know it can vary greatly, but...

£100 is reasnable, remember that out of this has to come traveling time and time taken quoteing. Obviously larger jobs are worked out on time to clean and my day rate of £300.
The machinery and insurance is costly and you must remember that the large machines can drink nearly 15 liters of petrol over 8 hours use this must be considerd.

Well i feel that i must be under-pricing. 100quid for 20 square meters.
Maybe its the area which I work but if I tried to charge that much I dont think I would get many jobs.
I have the same approach as andy for the smaller jobs. Minimum of 50 quid. This would fall into that catagory.
best of luck.

I understand the need for pricing in the travelling time etc, but I was taking into consideration the fact that this is an existing client too... you would already be on site and only a couple of hours work, so price should reflect this.
Glad I am not alone in my thinking.
