Marble polish advice
« on: June 30, 2019, 10:52:33 am »
I have around 30-40sqm of marble floor and it's faded during the years (no maintenance and regular mopping with bleach/water mix). I am guessing there is also some scale on the surface too.

A guy popped in couple of weeks ago to have a look at it and he was confident he could bring the marble shine back so i told him to give it a go. He had a go on a small area using his rotary buffing machine with few different wheels (bonastre diamond polishing wheels) and in the end he threw some powder (don't remember the name) on the marple floor and it now it looks brand new, like a mirror.

I have a rotary buffing machine polishing with some normal pads but that's everything i have at the moment. I noticed that people are selling marble powder on the internet, is it as easy as it sounds or am i missing something?

If I just need some powder, which one is the best and how much do i roughly need per sqm?

What sort of money will all the products above cost (Jackeroo Polishing Pads, Miracle Mira Dust Polishing Powder,  stone soap)?

It depends on the size of the pads, the size of the polishing powder and the stone soap!  It’s all on the website www.tilinglogistics.co.uk
