Google have started to flag up HTTP sites, you want HTTPS.

Eventually they'll start dropping HTTP sites down their ranking I'd imagine.

HTTPS sites have security certificates, normally meaning they can take payment securely. You would never order off a site without https. The fact it says "not secure" for http actually makes the site feel insecure when this isn't the case at all, it's warning you that you must not enter payment details on such a site.

I added a security certificate to my site just the other day.

My website is hosted by tso host, I simply contacted them and they added a free one.

You can get paid ones or free ones, the paid ones usually come with a warranty.

If you don't know much about it just get the guy who did your site to sort it.

Just log into your tso account to make a ssl order.   Don't bother with the free one as they expire every 3 months and sometimes they fail to renew which then brings your site down till its fixed.   Just purchase the low cost one per year and relax.
