Hypo

Hi all,

Are there any laws regarding hypo?
Iknow you can only mix chemicals that are specifically designed to be mixed.

Is it legal for hypo to go into the drains?

Many thanks

By the time hypo is flowing into drains it’s been neutralised, it’s no different than household residents putting bleach down there sink drain.

I’m not sure how it’s avoidable to be honest.

Its a hazardous substance so f you got stopped and your van contents looked at i think you may need the containers its stored in clearly labelled and other paper work. They stop vans in my area on the pretence of checking for fly tipping. I'm sure the guys on here can put you right on the correct procedures to follow when transporting S/H

The barrels you buy are clearly labelled- so no issues there
