Gx390 conversion to pw from genny
« on: February 14, 2019, 04:45:23 pm »
Hello lads

I've had this engine for a few years running a generator but the genny has now died.

I can purchase a good recon interpump for not a lot of money and would need a hose and Lance etc.

Couple or so questions,

What's a good quality hose and Lance setup  to buy

And

Do you think this is a good idea or should I buy a 2nd hand machine ready set up ?

Also what if any problems might I come up against getting g it built / setup ?

Cheers

Generators often use a tapered shaft  which does not take a pump ( they need a straight keyed shaft)

Personally I would buy a machine off me if you live Near East Yorkshire 😄

The tops one is diesel with a Brand new pump only did 15mins after fitted then realised the engine had an oil leak so put it in the unit, it’s electric start (the recoils is snapped ) works perfect apart from the oil leak. Cost  £400  (the pump was nearly that)

The electric start Honda gx90 13ph is running a cat 45 pump,  perfect running order in a stainless steel frame £400

Neither have hose or lance
