Recommended reel for garden hose?
« on: December 15, 2018, 10:07:57 am »
Got about 40 or 50 metres of quality garden hose but it's all in a pile think it would better on a reel.  Any recommendations?  Use it for softwashing, gutters etc

I already have a claber for 60 metres of microbore.  Would I be better upgrading this to a different reel as well?

Perfect reel with spares available :)

Will it take 50 metres of 'garden hose'?  Garden hose is thicker than microbore

Probably not, i think mine has around 50 meters of 1/2inch but wasn't the best garden hose. It was the cheap green stuff so hardly any wall thickness. You mentioned 40-50 So thats why i posted my link.

Spruces is a good alternative and maybe a safer bet.
