Tank positioning in a Transit van
« on: June 27, 2006, 07:53:31 pm »
I'm about to get a garage or possible my local metal fabrication workshop to fit a 650L tank int omy SWB Transit.

I understand it's not supposed to go directly over the rear axle? Is it just a case of positioning it in such a way that both axles share the load?

I also have a transit with a 680 ltr tank fitted by tuckers, this is about a foot from bulk head also.

 Hope this helps.
